Public web searches multiple public indexes. Optional SearXNG/Brave can expand coverage. Tor requires public onion seeds and a Tor proxy. File references (Office, CSV, databases and archives) use indexed metadata and sampled public repository file listings. Search results are reference links, not automatic downloads. Hugging Face search indexes public metadata; the separate repository browser can download the files you select to this server. Multilingual search sends keywords to an external translation service: public-web coverage uses all 14 languages; repository-specific indexing prioritizes Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and French to limit rate restrictions.
